Overview
The GLUNS Nairobi Summer Workshop is a three-day Model United Nations (MUN) delegate training programme designed to equip students and young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in MUN conferences and leadership environments.
Scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya from August 12–14, 2026, the workshop will bring together aspiring diplomats, future policymakers, and emerging leaders for an immersive learning experience focused on diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, and global affairs.
Through practical training sessions, interactive simulations, committee exercises, and collaborative discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how Model United Nations operates while developing the essential skills required to represent countries effectively, engage in meaningful debate, and draft impactful resolutions.
The workshop is designed for both first-time delegates seeking a strong foundation in MUN and experienced participants looking to refine their diplomatic and leadership abilities. By fostering dialogue, critical thinking, and international awareness, the workshop aims to prepare participants to become informed global citizens and future leaders.
